invention

my housemate, nadia once asked me; if i could invent a new technology/thing what would it be?

i thought about it, hard but not long. just hard. i kept thinking about inventing a gadget that could make a person happy. but then, it would not be possible, so i thought about factors that contribute to happiness. a lot came to mind but one stood out the most.

memories.

i would like to invent a technology that can make us recall the most vivid yet happiest memory that we have of something/someone/a moment or anything. us humans can only remember so much. not all of us has an eidetic memory thus having this kind of invention will make us remember more and appreciate better.

sure, there is no doubt that it will be misused and abused but tell me, what kind of technology that has not been abused and misused?

my intention is happiness.

or maybe i should invent a bottle that can save laughter.

maybe i should stop thinking.
