ramadhan 2012.

kemensah.

dalam kereta.

lepas sahur

aku dengan kau duduk depan. 

baru sampai kemensah, mengantuk tapi malas nak tidur.

kau batuk batuk tahap nak mampos.

aku duduk tepi tahan mata tak nak kasi lelap.

borak borak.

"nak dengar lagu?" tanyaku.

aku bagi kau sebelah earphone, lagi sebelah aku tusuk dalam lobang telinga aku.

kau scroll aku punya playlist.

"kau dengar Panic! At The Disco?" tanya kau dengan excited.

aku macam, "hell yeah~"

dan kita duduk dalam kereta di ambang subuh sambil dengar lagu.

balik dari kemensah.

kita berdua je lagi yang terjaga.

yelah kau mestilah terjaga sebab kau yang drive tapi aku co-nakhoda.

i was obliged to stay awake and accompany you.

aku nak tidur tapi, come on lah, takkan aku nak terlepas peluang borak dengan kau.

aku ingat lagi, kau cerita pasal kau terlanggar kereta orang depan.

cerita pasal entah apa lagi i can't recall.

tapi aku dengar, dengar dan dengar.

walaupun aku mengantuk separuh mati.

lama jugaklah sebab nak balik dari kemensah ke unisel agak jam pagi tu.

aku sebenarnya tak kesah sangat pun jam. 

walhal lagi suka. lepak lagi lama.

sampai di unisel.

depan pagar hostel perempuan we bid our goodbyes.

aku ingat lagi kau cakap; "I'll see you soong!"

kau quote daripada cerita Cars2.

"I'll see you soong!" laungku kembali.

i am writing this just to say that, i love the simple memories that you and i both share, granted you remember them or not. we did not went on some big expensive extravagant dates. most of the time kita keluar pun atas belas ehsan shaakir  atau haifaa yang nak mengangkut kita. and the other most of the times, we hung out at cafe, or i don't know, cafe? after we moved out of unisel's hostel, we went out for naan and hung out from 8.30 until the place was about to close for the night. sure we went on dates, but all of these simple memories, they are the best. just moments passing by too fast around us when we felt as if the clock had not ticked at all. 

we talked. we laughed. we joked. we watched movies. we listened to songs. we impersonated. we sat. and again, we just talked.

and we still do.

i hope we are still going to.
